About the position

The Senior IS Applications Analyst, Operations (Back-end & Automation Support) at Providence Health & Services plays a crucial role in the optimization and enhancement of the organization's ERP and time-tracking systems, which support over 122,000 employees. This position is part of the Enterprise Business Applications team and is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using technologies such as Azure database, Python, and C#. The analyst will lead medium-sized projects and work on complex business automations and reporting requirements, ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of users and comply with established standards. In this role, the analyst will analyze and evaluate existing or proposed reporting solutions, modifying procedures to process data and report efficiently. They will engage with users to determine appropriate requirements for reporting and automation, contributing to the design of a service delivery system by evaluating and recommending options for tools, hardware, and processes. The analyst will also define and collect metrics to support service intelligence analysis, ensuring that the services provided meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quality, cost, and caregiver expectations. The position is hybrid/remote, allowing for flexibility in work location, with possible required travel of up to 10% of the work schedule. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Azure database, Python, C#, and other technologies.
  • Lead medium-sized projects and work teams on complex business automations and reporting requirements.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed reporting solutions and modify procedures for efficient data processing and reporting.
  • Engage with users to determine appropriate requirements for reporting and automation.
  • Contribute to the design of a service delivery system by evaluating and recommending options for tools, hardware, and processes.
  • Define and collect metrics to support service intelligence analysis, including service availability data and performance measures.
  • Advise on caregiver, business, and technical requirements, ensuring compliance with standards and KPIs.
  • Create technical presentations and documents to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, Commerce, or a combination of education and relevant experience (at least 5 years of relevant experience).
  • 5 years of related experience, with a preference for more.
  • 2 years of demonstrated ability to successfully execute medium to complex projects, including methodologies related to application management such as system deployment and support.
  • Experience in process improvement methodology, change management, and operational improvement in complex systems.
