Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Integrated Library System (ILS) and related platforms.
• Collaborate with library staff and technology vendors to implement system upgrades and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze library system data and generate reports to guide decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
• Support digital content and e-resource platforms to enhance public access to library services.
• Monitor and maintain the Integrated Library System (ILS) and related services, ensuring seamless performance and integration with other library applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working both on-site and remotely.
• Develop, implement, and maintain library technology applications, including performing system upgrades and testing.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Assess community needs and user behavior to support the development of library collections and services.
• Serve as a primary liaison with library technology vendors.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in management information systems, computer science, library science, or a closely related field.
• At least four years of progressively responsible information systems experience involving applications, systems or network development, telecommunications, administration and/or support.
• Experience in a public agency is preferred.
