About the position

The Senior IT Asset Manager at AT&T is responsible for overseeing the procurement and maintenance of hardware and software related to Information Services business solutions. This role combines technical, financial, and business acumen to manage vendor relationships and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding software and hardware options.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement and maintenance of hardware and software for Information Services business solutions.
• Provide input and develop strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership by evaluating software and hardware options, vendor capabilities, and affordability.
• Oversee lease processes from inception to final reconciliation.
• Implement software license deployment and entitlement best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships and track vendor deliverables.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT asset management.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Experience with software license deployment and entitlement best practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in financial analysis related to IT asset management.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in IT asset management.
