About the position

The position involves directing the gathering and organization of assessment data to support risk reporting and monitoring processes within IT. The role focuses on advising, designing, and validating IT controls and processes, as well as assisting in the design of corrective actions to address control deficiencies. The individual will consult with control owners to innovate and implement controls to minimize risks and improve overall control design, ensuring compliance and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the gathering and organization of assessment data to support risk reporting and monitoring processes.
  • Advise, design, and validate the status of IT controls and processes.
  • Assist in the design of corrective actions to address control deficiencies.
  • Consult with control owners to innovate and implement controls to minimize risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure stakeholders incorporate new controls and updates into testing.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders within IT to understand the business environment and design systems of controls.
  • Assess levels of risk and compliance across the enterprise.
  • Maintain departmental work processes for IT controls.
  • Interface with business control personnel and provide technical guidance.
  • Communicate and assist in remediation of control findings with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Develop metrics (KRI & KPI) to deliver reports to management personnel.
  • Identify and manage issues and risks with stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 - 6 years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience with Data Analysis and Project Management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred.
  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control preferred.
