About the position

TD Engineering Operations is home to a team of highly valued professionals recognized for both their customer-service mindsets and dedication to seamless 24-7 running of our infrastructure technologies. They also manage what we call the implementation and delivery life cycle for IT components across the various technology groups. This includes component installation, maintenance and decommissioning, system performance, capacity and availability, migration, emerging technology assessment, implementation, release management, and deployment support. As a Senior IT Build Analyst, you will lead strategic technology initiatives, build, and maintain key elements of the firm's enterprise infrastructure and associated project portfolio. You will provide leadership for the delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance and audit, establishing and maintaining metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements to continually improve data center performance. In this role, you will manage remote sites and schedule/monitor work performed by third-party vendors. You will also be responsible for Business Continuity Plan Management, ensuring that our BCP documentation is current and approved by management. You will attend meetings to capture business requirements for data center capacity planning and workflow management, maintaining corporate databases and ensuring compliance with internal and external audit regulations. Your support for applications and systems will involve meeting or exceeding standards and service levels while minimizing operational risk. You will promptly schedule equipment installs and cabling requests, engage partners, and plan parallel work streams when possible. Partnering closely with stakeholders to improve production environment stability will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. As a subject matter expert, you will consult with clients and project teams to provide technical guidance and complex troubleshooting/problem resolution. You will lead the support of highly complex applications/systems and identify root causes to implement targeted remediation plans. Your expertise will extend to installing, configuring, upgrading, and administering business applications/systems in coordination with appropriate stakeholders. You will also research industry standards, best practices, and new innovations in technology, making recommendations to enhance our operations. This position requires occasional travel between sites, and you will be expected to follow change management procedures, ensuring proper testing, sign-off, and monitoring of system life cycles to support business objectives and architecture decisions.
