About the position
The position involves providing comprehensive desktop and server support, managing network configurations, and ensuring the smooth operation of various IT systems. The role requires a strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Desktop & Server Support and Administration
- Firewall Support / VPN Setup
- Terminal Servers / Remote Desktop
- Active Directory Management
- Backup & Recovery
- VOIP Technologies Support
- Enterprise Wireless Configuration & Support (WiFi)
- DNS Setup & Configuration
- TCP/IP Networking (DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SNMP protocols)
- Understanding of advanced routing & switching (VLAN, OSPF, EIGRP, etc)
- Troubleshooting Network Voice and Data Devices and Internet/Wan Circuits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Ability to travel to client sites
- Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral communication skills
