About the position

Newmark is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager responsible for coordinating the development and execution of infrastructure projects within the organization. This role involves directing various infrastructure initiatives, managing budgets, ensuring timely delivery, and implementing process improvements across multiple teams including Azure Cloud, M365, Network, Server, Configuration Management, Messaging, and Telecom.

Responsibilities

  • Direct infrastructure projects and define tasks and timelines.
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure project alignment.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive and implement process improvement solutions for infrastructure project management.
  • Identify infrastructure goals and project delivery metrics.
  • Define all activities necessary to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Identify and assemble project team members.
  • Document and plan project activities concisely.
  • Evaluate project performance and identify risks and limitations.
  • Oversee project results to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collect and present performance information related to infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather business requirements.
  • Manage changes throughout the project including schedule and scope adjustments.
  • Build relationships with key staff from infrastructure and applications teams.
  • Proactively manage issues and mitigate risks to keep projects on track.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in Infrastructure Project Management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of large enterprise-level solutions based on technical, application, and business requirements.
  • Experience in developing and executing complex deployment scenarios.
  • Track record of introducing and improving processes within their area.
  • Previous participation in M&A integration activities and project planning.
  • Project management skills with a focus on disaster recovery and planning concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work as a team member.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Azure Cloud and M365 environments.
  • Familiarity with Network, Server, Configuration Management, Messaging, and Telecom teams.
