About the position

The Senior IT Manager for Product Connectivity Solutions at Medtronic is responsible for leading a team of software engineers and technologists to develop and support critical technologies that enable medical devices to connect in various environments. This role involves overseeing product delivery, ensuring high-quality operations in the IoT and security space, and fostering an inclusive culture that promotes innovation and collaboration across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the development, design, and optimization of IT systems supporting business processes.
• Analyze, select, and modify enterprise systems and application software.
• Ensure the protection of the company's data and information systems.
• Maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility through infrastructure architecture standards.
• Coordinate delivery of IT services to user groups and ensure uninterrupted service.
• Lead and mentor the software engineering team to achieve strong performance and manage individual talent.
• Drive product delivery across multiple initiatives and oversee collaborative team results.
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset to achieve quality, speed, and innovation.
• Conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.
• Partner with software and R&D teams to drive product and solution delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
• 5+ years of managerial experience.
