About the position

The Senior IT Network & Cloud Migration Specialist will oversee the design, implementation, and management of complex networking and cloud solutions for clients at NetGain Technologies. This role is integral to the executive leadership team, contributing strategic insights to drive growth and innovation. The position requires deep knowledge of network architecture, Azure migrations, and cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on security, efficiency, and customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize secure, high-performance networks tailored to client needs.
• Lead migrations to Azure and other cloud platforms, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime.
• Assess existing client infrastructures, recommend improvements, and implement scalable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations, and deliver clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, providing rapid resolution and preventive maintenance.
• Act as a subject matter expert for cloud-based technologies, network security, and compliance.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to build team expertise.
• Maintain a strong track record of successful project delivery, meeting and exceeding client satisfaction and performance metrics.
• Provide leadership insights and contribute to executive-level discussions to align IT strategy with business objectives.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud solutions, with a focus on complex networks.
• Proven experience with Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and network security protocols.
• Demonstrated success in customer communication and project management, with a client-first approach.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to delivering client-focused solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as CCNP, Azure Solutions Architect, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
