About the position

The Senior IT Procurement Project Manager will lead and manage IT projects related to procurement for a well-known multinational food and snacks manufacturer. This role focuses on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position requires expertise in procurement processes and risk management, along with maintaining detailed project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects related to procurement, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, finance, and external vendors, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of procurement processes to guide project decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely financial reporting.
• Drive adoption of new procurement systems and processes across the organization, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
• Develop schedules, timelines, and financials (budget).
• Manage meetings, send minutes, track progress, handle SOW, and manage risk.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT procurement.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with purchasing and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in project management systems and tools.
• Experience with data migration and data analysis.
• Familiarity with HICX, SAP, and SAP Ariba.
