As a Senior IT Product Owner/Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our IT initiatives by leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects and products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies and best practices, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conception to completion, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department. As a senior-level team member, you will be expected to mentor and be a resource to other product and project managers. This position will work closely with the Director of Product Management and PMO to help define project and product processes and ensure minimum standards are being followed within the teams. In this role, you will identify, analyze, and prioritize new features and work by collaborating with business units and IT teams to understand customer needs and define solution options. You will solicit feedback to ensure continued alignment and ensure features and work delivered meet customer and technical requirements. Supporting new business engagements and proposals will be crucial to ensure the product/project approach is integrated and achievable in proposed solutions. You will document product/project requirements and execute upon initiatives to ensure these meet the needs of business partners and larger corporate initiatives. You will create and maintain project plans and task lists, including milestones, tasks, dependencies, and deliverables using processes and tools appropriate for the complexity level of the project. Experience in leading SCRUM/Agile activities, including facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, will be essential to ensure efficient collaboration and alignment among cross-functional teams. You will drive due dates and task completion for business and technology teams, lead project meetings with stakeholders, users, and technical teams, and understand business and system processes. Analyzing different business metrics and conducting gap analysis and process optimization will also be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining issues and risks logs, proactively monitoring and coordinating to resolve issues and risks promptly, and meeting with business team members to discuss and assist with project requests will be key aspects of your role. You will act as a liaison between business and technology teams to drive and facilitate requirement and design sessions and clarifications throughout the project lifecycle.
