About the position

The Senior IT Program Manager at Medtronic will lead the implementation of the Product DNA program, focusing on Regulatory & Quality Systems and IT Programs. This strategic role involves directing program teams, managing external IT partnerships, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The position requires interaction with senior leadership to drive decision-making and successful outcomes, while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, deployment, and optimization of the Product DNA program.
  • Oversee the analysis, selection, and modification of enterprise PLM Systems and logistics application software.
  • Ensure the protection of the company's data, tools, and information systems.
  • Maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility through infrastructure architecture standards.
  • Coordinate delivery of services to user groups and ensure uninterrupted IT service.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel for efficient operation of the function.
  • Ensure PLM/MCAD solutions meet business requirements and align with overall strategy.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Provide oversight and direction to project teams to meet goals and objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues during the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to executive management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budget to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
  • Deliver program KPIs aligned with strategic enterprise objectives.
  • Implement best practices for portfolio, program, and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree.
