About the position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager (ERP) to be a part of the team that is designing the future for our company. This role is critical as we are investing in a large-scale ERP Oracle Fusion implementation project that will standardize processes, eliminate waste, and allow us to grow. The Senior Project Manager will report to the Program Director and will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing the implementation of technology solutions that will significantly impact how we conduct our business. This position is part of the IT team located at our headquarters office in Loveland, CO, and will require onsite presence 3-4 days per week. In this role, you will utilize project management tools to independently lead and manage Oracle ERP implementation projects aimed at improving business processes and eliminating waste. You will be expected to be a positive influence, leading through frequent ambiguity, uncertainty, and change. Your responsibilities will include working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define and document project scope and specifications, developing detailed and comprehensive test plans, and coordinating testing with business users for unit tests, System Integration Tests (SIT), and User Acceptance Tests (UAT). You will also mentor and cross-train other IT associates and designated users to support areas of responsibility, provide input to IT standards and SOPs, and ensure the performance of our system integrator through validation and constant communication. Responsibilities

  • Utilize project management tools to independently lead and manage Oracle ERP implementation projects to improve business processes and eliminate waste.
  • Be a positive influence to lead through frequent ambiguity/uncertainty/change.
  • Utilize design principles that follow as close to out of the box Oracle Fusion as possible.
  • Work with SMEs to define and document project scope and specifications.
  • Develop detailed and comprehensive test plans, unit test systems and applications and coordinate testing with the business users for unit tests, System Integration Tests (SIT) and User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
  • Work independently on assigned projects and tasks, effectively using other resources as needed.
  • Mentor and cross train other IT associates and designated users to support areas of responsibility.
  • Provide input to IT standards and SOPs and follow established standards.
  • Work with IT and business teams on global standards and strategies.
  • Lead the work and consolidation of multiple work streams.
  • Ensure the performance of our system integrator through validation and constant communication.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of IT project management experience, including experience transforming business processes and achieving seamless integration across multiple modules including Finance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management tools and at least 5 years of proven experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS or Cloud applications.
  • Experience managing SDLC projects in waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience leading teams/projects involving creation and optimization of software development workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to serve as the cornerstone of effective collaboration across all stakeholders, including experience delivering effective presentations both online and in person.
  • Experience with leading teams through the process of removing obstacles that hinder the program's success, requiring excellent problem-solving competence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic understanding of PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Experience with Kaizen process is a plus.
  • PMP certification highly desired.
