About the position

As a Senior Project Manager in the IT PMO at Donnelley Financial Solutions (DFIN), you will lead critical and strategic IT projects that directly impact the company's bottom line. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders, managing multiple projects across various functional organizations, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery. You will be part of a dynamic team that values passion and achievement, working within a complex IT infrastructure that includes over 10,000 devices and multiple data centers globally.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote IT PMO standards.
• Manage multiple large- and small-scale complexity projects that have a direct impact on the company.
• Create PowerPoint slides and provide project updates for programs.
• Manage an IT PMO process with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines, and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and/or escalate as needed.
• Plan, design, manage, and execute project plans to ensure delivery, including management through feasibility, design, planning, and implementation.
• Leverage problem-solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
• Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.
• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years' experience in managing projects as a Project Manager.
• 2+ years' experience in supporting Programs as a Project Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• Project Management/Agile Certification(s): Required, at least 1 of the following (PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe, ACP).
• IT Certification(s): Required, at least 1 in the following areas of IT (CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Azure, Database, IT Security).

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• Business Process Management, LEAN, Six Sigma certified.
• Experience with Smartsheet (Project Management software) and SharePoint.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Networks, IT Security standards & policies.
• Expert in creating PowerPoint presentations and expert with Microsoft Excel.
