About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager/Scrum Master at TruStone Financial is responsible for leading and managing business and technology projects that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves project leadership, planning, execution, and delivery using various methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects with significant budgets and will work closely with cross-functional teams and C-level leadership to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage business and technology projects to support strategic goals.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, control, and delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Orchestrate large programs, including Organizational Change Management (OCM).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and C-level leadership to ensure project benefits and value are achieved.
  • Manage project work plans, including tasks, milestones, and resource needs.
  • Communicate and coach teams on project management best practices and tools.
  • Identify and track project risks, issues, and scope changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years of direct project management experience, including process development and execution.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services domain preferred.
  • Project management certification (PMP and/or CSM) required.
  • Experience with IT Service Management concepts (ITIL).
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze problems and implement solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Business Process Reengineering (BPR).
  • Experience managing a project team of 50+ resources.
