About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager will oversee critical projects within the Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Financial Integrations domain. This role focuses on enhancing integrations between Turvo TMS and Workday, managing project financials, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the transportation domain and a commitment to long-term engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects with a focus on Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Financial Integrations.
• Oversee project financials and ensure effective tracking using tools like MS Project.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate their value.
• Enhance integrations between Turvo TMS and Workday, focusing on financial systems and data delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior leaders.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience working as an IT Project Manager in an enterprise environment.
• Specific experience leading projects in the Supply Chain/Transportation domain, ideally projects related to TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
• Specific experience with financial transactions from an IT integration perspective, with strong experience leading financial systems integration projects.
• Strong experience being responsible for executive-level communication, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and timely updates.
• Demonstrate excellent expertise in managing project budgets, with strong experience tracking and optimizing project financials to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Proficiently work with Project Management tracking tools such as MS Project, ADO, or ServiceNow.
• Possess an innate curiosity and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring thorough project execution.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactively addressing challenges.
• Operate independently, demonstrating a proactive, self-driven approach without requiring constant supervision.
