About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager will lead and manage complex Cybersecurity programs for a top client in the financial markets sector. This role requires building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, and implementing strategic solutions to meet long-term business objectives. The position involves overseeing program delivery, managing risks, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead program delivery to support long-term business objectives that are complex and integrated.
• Create clear scope definition across all areas of the program, including planning, communications, change management, and implementation.
• Design, develop, and manage complex integrated roadmaps and delivery plans in a dynamic environment.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership while effectively driving program delivery.
• Produce program reporting to executive stakeholders on the status and health of the program.
• Capture, resolve, and escalate risk & impediments to ensure effective program delivery.
• Support senior-level executives and create C-level presentation materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 10 years of experience in project management
• Prior experience managing cybersecurity initiatives
• Ability to manage multiple large concurrent technology programs or portfolios
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with key stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work independently to define, plan, and execute technical projects
• Experience motivating teams to solve problems and deliver high-quality results
• Outstanding influencing skills to drive large-scale technical delivery
• Experience using planning and task management tools (Gantt, Jira)
• Experience working with the latest technologies (i.e. AI) is a plus.
