About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing large-scale IT projects, particularly in the realm of ERP implementations and enhancements. This role requires managing complex projects with budgets ranging from $25M to $50M, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The position demands strong leadership skills to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously, coordinate with internal resources and external vendors, and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage high visibility, large and complex projects in the range of $25-$50M related to ERP implementations/enhancements/upgrades.
• Oversee projects from business case to implementation, including budget management, resource allocation, and project planning.
• Perform actual vs. planned analysis at the project level and forecast project costs.
• Develop project plans, scope, and schedules while tracking progress, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead end-to-end technical implementation, including hardware installation, environment setup, and software deployment.
• Facilitate meetings with technical and non-technical resources to capture project requirements and monitor project status.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Prepare and present presentations for steering committee meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in large-scale IT Project Management environment.
• Experience managing complex $25M-$50M IT projects in a PMO environment.
• Experience managing ERP Implementation projects such as SAP, Salesforce, or PeopleSoft.
• Hands-on experience developing resource loaded schedules.
• Experience managing project budgets and projecting monthly forecasts.
• Ability to manage multiple high visibility projects simultaneously.
• Expert understanding of Program Management processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Stage Gate Process is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
