About the position

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple medium to large projects with moderate to high complexity, ensuring they are completed from concept to completion. This role acts as a single point of accountability, utilizing SERVPRO Project Controls and Standards to meet project objectives while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Author and facilitate strategic documents such as project charters and communication plans.
  • Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members.
  • Manage vendor relations by assessing supplier needs and setting objectives for cost and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate Development, Quality Assurance, and Technology resources for successful project deliverables.
  • Manage and communicate a clear project scope and motivate team members to achieve objectives.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies.
  • Ensure completion of high-quality deliverables as required by each project plan.
  • Create, manage, and monitor the project budget, tracking expenses and adjusting as needed.
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly project status meetings with the core project team.
  • Cultivate relationships with business owners and team members to accomplish project activities.
  • Communicate difficult information tactfully and in a timely manner.
  • Provide clear and direct communications both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Project Management approaches and technical business systems.
  • Optimize processes and foster a culture of consistency and excellence across all projects.
  • Collaborate with the EPMO to ensure standards and practices are implemented across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum eight years of experience leading medium to large technical integration projects or small programs.
  • In-depth understanding of Project Management approaches and methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience in a Business-related field.
