About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for scoping, documenting, testing, and deploying critical projects for Current Lighting. This role involves managing high-complexity projects that span multiple areas of IT. The projects may include changes to manufacturing or supply chain processes, integrations with third-party logistics companies, data and analytics initiatives, finance enhancements, intercompany and international process improvements, eCommerce platform improvements, and customer rollouts. Additionally, the role encompasses infrastructure hardware installation, property migration, and networking rollouts. The applications relevant to these projects include SAP S/4 HANA, Salesforce, Power BI, Snowflake, Vertex, Precisely/Winshuttle, OpenText, Oasis, Connect, EDI, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience and education. A minimum of 10 years of IT project management experience is required, with a proven track record of managing projects that have increased in size and complexity. The Senior IT Project Manager must be highly collaborative, capable of working with and guiding various business stakeholders, and able to delve into the details of current state processes to create comprehensive documentation. This role also requires the facilitation of decision-making among large groups and strong personalities, as well as prior success in implementing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The candidate should have familiarity with IT projects, including ERP, eCommerce, cloud networking, and infrastructure/hardware installation projects. Curiosity and tenacity are essential, as is the ability to translate between business and technical terminology. A high degree of empathy and a servant leadership style are crucial for success in this role, along with the ability to work with offshore technical resources across multiple time zones. Strong QA skills are necessary to lead the strategy and execution of IT testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Experience with Smartsheet and SharePoint is considered a bonus.
