As a Senior IT Solution Architect for the Data Portfolio at Erie Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the IT architecture that supports our enterprise data assets. This position is designed for a seasoned professional who can create an environment where full context is provided to drive strategy for moderately complex, transformative initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and validating the IT architecture against the business requirements for initiatives that have a moderate architectural impact. Your role will involve setting direction and achieving alignment around the IT strategy, determining the best path to achieve it, and empowering the organization to make high-quality technology and process decisions that enable our business vision. This position requires a sophisticated approach to relationship building and partnership, as you will be working closely with both business and IT stakeholders. In this role, you will serve as a key architecture leader for enterprise initiatives involving enterprise data assets. You will also act as the solution architecture lead for data portfolio initiatives, working within our enterprise business agility agile framework. Your responsibilities will include providing options for feature design and facilitating participation in architecture governance processes. You will be expected to apply your expertise in solution architecture, data techniques, and technologies, including analytics, database management, data warehousing, data governance, data modeling, and data architecture. Additionally, experience with cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and machine learning will be beneficial. Your duties will also encompass driving change within the organization, aligning investments to business outcomes, and actively engaging with partners to define those outcomes. You will need to articulate both business and technical concepts clearly, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the context of our investments. By providing an outside-in perspective, you will help drive change that reduces expenses, enhances business agility, and improves our competitive position. Collaboration across disparate groups will be essential, as will the ability to influence decision-makers using sound business judgment and meaningful artifacts that capture those decisions.
