About the position

Sentara Health is seeking a passionate EPIC professional to join our team as a Senior IT Specialty Analyst, specifically an Epic Cogito Certified Analyst. This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to specific states including Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. In this role, you will work closely with various EPIC support teams, technical teams, Epic end users, and citizen report developers. Your primary responsibilities will include triaging incoming requests for Epic analytic solutions, matching existing Epic analytics content to user requests, and designing and developing new analytics content in Epic Hyperspace to meet user requirements. Additionally, you will support end-user training on Epic Cogito tools and analytics solutions, as well as assist with ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements across the full suite of Epic Cogito tools, databases, and configurations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience if holding a degree, or 7 years without. Active Epic certification in Cogito Fundamentals and the Caboodle Data Model is required, with additional certifications in areas such as Cogito Tools Administration, Slicer Dicer, Custom Build, Cogito SQL, Radar SQL, and Metrics receiving priority consideration. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Active Epic certification in Cogito Fundamentals and the Caboodle Data Model
  • Additional active certification in Cogito Tools Administration, Slicer Dicer, Custom Build, Cogito SQL, Radar SQL, or Metrics is preferred
