WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Senior IT Technical Analyst to join the IT organization. In this role, you will analyze and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring smooth operations and providing technical guidance and support to the IT business applications team. Your contributions will be vital to the overall success of the organization as you implement effective solutions and drive continuous improvement. This position requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, along with a solid knowledge of IT systems and processes. Expert SQL data analysis skills are essential for this role. As a Senior IT Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting complex technical problems, working closely with end-users and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues promptly. You will provide technical guidance and support to business analysts, assisting them in problem-solving and technical decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key as you understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. You will evaluate and recommend system upgrades, software installations, and technology enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity. Additionally, you will develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Conducting research on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends will also be part of your responsibilities, as you recommend innovative solutions to address business needs. Monitoring and maintaining system performance will be crucial, as you conduct regular audits and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement. You will lead and participate in technical projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget and scope. Collaborating with vendors and external partners to implement and support technology solutions will ensure smooth integration and functionality. Staying updated with industry standards and regulations will be necessary to ensure compliance and adherence to security protocols. Finally, you will complete data analysis and mapping tasks in support of multiple system integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, working closely with end-users and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide technical guidance and support to business analysts, helping them in problem-solving and technical decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical analyst role, with experience in a senior or leadership position preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, and experienced in software development methodologies and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of database management and expert skills writing SQL queries.
• In-depth knowledge of system administration, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Extensive experience mapping data between applications and APIs to support data integration projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting technical issues and providing user support, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure, with experience in virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and industry standards.
