About the position
The Senior IT Technical Project Manager 4 is responsible for managing and delivering complex IT projects that involve multiple teams and work streams, adhering to an aggressive delivery schedule. This hybrid role requires the project manager to work onsite 3-4 days a week in Midlothian, VA, and involves overseeing projects related to Software as a Service (SaaS) and IT infrastructure components.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or IT Infrastructure components.
- Lead the team through the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management for successful project completion.
- Ensure the outcome of the assigned projects meets the required standards.
- Coordinate multiple teams and work streams to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Monitor project phases: Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closeout.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of project experience in IT infrastructure delivery, network and server infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Cloud implementations and vendor management.
- Experience in various software development methodologies, preferably Agile.
- PMP certification through PMI or PM certification from Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA).
- Possession of a valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
