About the position
The Senior ITOM Consultant/Developer at Insight Global is responsible for developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a primary focus on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role involves configuring CMDB Discovery and Service Mapping solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders, and interacting with various infrastructure-related teams to ensure effective event management and service mapping.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform focusing on CMDB.
- Configure CMDB Discovery and Service Mapping solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate CMDB solutions.
- Interact with disaster recovery, incident response, network, firewall, and other infrastructure-related teams.
- Focus on Event Management, Service Mapping, and Discovery.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer/ITOM Developer.
- Hands-on experience with the Discovery Admin module.
- Experience integrating CMDB with external data sources and applications.
- Strong CMDB experience, particularly in Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders and leadership.
- Experience as an Architect or Administrator in ServiceNow modules.
