About the position

This position involves working on the internal Knowledge team of a top consulting firm, focusing on in-house projects. The role primarily revolves around Java development, AWS cloud services, and database management, with an emphasis on creating scalable and efficient applications. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software while maintaining documentation and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS Cloud, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
• Design, optimize, and manage SQL databases to ensure high performance and availability.
• Integrate AI capabilities with large language models (LLM) to enhance application capabilities (Good to have).
• Design and implement microservices architecture for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to deliver high-quality software.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and system configurations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java development and AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and best coding practices.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and large language models (LLM) is an added advantage.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ChatGPT and GenAI.
