The Senior Java AWS Cloud Developer role is focused on leveraging advanced programming skills and cloud technologies to develop and deploy applications in a hybrid work environment. The developer will work collaboratively within a team to implement projects and ensure efficient application deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy applications using Java and AWS cloud services.
• Implement REST microservice architecture for scalable applications.
• Automate application deployment and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members in Agile environments (Kanban or Scrum).
• Utilize various AWS services such as S3, EC2, and Lambda for application development.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases in AWS.
• Manage source control using Bitbucket/Stash for feature-driven development.
• Familiarize with automated deployment tools like uDeploy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Deep understanding of various programming languages, particularly Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience in application deployment automation and pipelines.
• Experience in Agile project implementation (Kanban or Scrum).
• At least 3 years of experience in foundational development languages (Java, Python).
• Experience with AWS services including S3, Route 53, EC2, EKS, API Gateway, Cloud Front, Cloud Trail, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases in AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of MS-Azure or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Artifactory and API registries (e.g., Apigee).
• Ability to learn new technologies and tackle complex problems.
