Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with business partners and engineering teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Implement test-driven development practices and participate in pair programming.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for code management.
• Manage bug tracking using software such as Jira.
• Design and implement analytical models and data-driven technical solutions.
• Understand and apply different integration and security patterns in development.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases including Postgres, Mongo, Cassandra, and SQL Server.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google.

Requirements

• 12+ years of backend development experience in Java.
• Experience with backend libraries/frameworks such as Java/Groovy, Python, Spring, Spock, and Gradle.
• Solid technical communication skills with business partners and engineering teams.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira.
• Experience in test-driven development practices and continuous integration/deployment.
• Experience with analytical models and data-driven technical solutions.
• Experience in understanding and implementing different integration/security patterns.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like Postgres, Mongo, Cassandra, and SQL Server.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure development, deployment, and maintenance (AWS, Azure, Google).
