Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java and associated frameworks.
• Collaborate with business partners and engineering teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for code management.
• Implement test-driven development practices and participate in pair programming.
• Manage and deploy applications on cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases including Postgres, Mongo, MongoDB, Cassandra, and SQL Server.

Requirements

• 12+ years of backend development experience in Java.
• Proficiency with backend libraries/frameworks such as Spring, Spock, and Gradle.
• Strong technical communication skills with business partners and engineering teams.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with bug tracking software such as Jira.
• Knowledge of test-driven development practices and continuous integration/deployment.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like Postgres, Mongo, Cassandra, and SQL Server.
• Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
