As a Senior Java Developer, you will provide L1, L2, and L3 support for all Capital Markets systems and business users, including Front Office, Operations, Middle Office, and Regulatory Reporting. You will troubleshoot issues, develop clear action plans to resolve them, and implement solutions into production while adhering to the Bank's enterprise policies and procedures. You will act as the IT lead for projects that require development, coordination with other teams, business analysis, and testing. Your role will involve partnering with subject matter experts to translate project objectives into detailed technical requirement documents, including timelines and task lists. You will work closely with business users to document, define, and track project technical requirements, milestones, and deliverables. Additionally, you will organize work assignments for key technical projects and communicate effectively with all project participants using tools like JIRA. You will also interact with project managers, internal constituents, and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of assigned work. In this position, you will always seek improvements and ways to enhance business operations and platforms. Your ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, learn from existing documentation, and execute with limited information will be crucial to your success.
