About the position

The Senior Java Developer role is a contract position focused on backend development using Java technologies. The developer will work on designing and implementing solutions, managing production issues, and handling upgrades and migrations. This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite in either Minneapolis or Atlanta, and is aimed at experienced professionals with a strong background in Java and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions independently
• Manage production issues and break fixes
• Handle upgrades, enhancements, and migrations

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of Java development experience
• Strong backend development using Spring Boot
• Proficiency with Java 8+ (currently using Java 11)
• Experience with Oracle RDS and stored procedures
• AWS expertise: Lambda, S3, EC2
• RESTful API development and SQL
• Familiarity with Angular 10+

Nice-to-haves

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer Associate)
• Experience with Route 53, CodePipeline
