About the position

The Senior Java Developer role is focused on developing and maintaining Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This position requires a strong understanding of Java programming and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The role is contract-based and requires onsite presence in Atlanta or Minneapolis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Java Developer
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Understanding of Agile methodologies

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL)
