Senior Java Developer with React

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Developer with React experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together in order to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Responsibilities

• Candidate should be ready to work from client office for at least 3 days a week.
• Proficiency in Java 17 with experience in Writing REST API, backend logic (batch jobs / Kafka processors) using spring boot.
• Good to have react hands on experience.
• Exposure to Non-Relational DB like MongoDB.
• Hands on experience on kafka is must.
• Proficient in using and adopting CICD Devops tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy/Harness etc.
• Candidate should be able to work as individual contributor.
• Candidate should have exposure in microservice applications.
• Associate should have good analytical skills, should be able to debug the application and understand the concepts.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as Spring boot Java react microservice software developer.
• Hands on knowledge on kafka, mongo DB is must.
• Familiarity with Agile/Jira/Scrums is mandatory.
• Candidate should have basic experience in banking and financial domain.
• Candidate should have experience in different phases of project execution like requirement gathering, analysis, design, unit testing, test support.
