HealthEdge is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our Solution Engineering team in Boise, Idaho. This role is pivotal for developing solutions that enable our customers to integrate seamlessly with our product suite. As a senior member of the team, you will engage in a variety of unique assignments, contributing to design discussions, backend coding, and database management using J2EE and integration technologies. Your expertise in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) will be essential as you take on responsibilities across all phases of software development, including requirements definition, design, architecture, development, testing, and integration. In this position, you will work as part of an agile team to implement new features that align with customer requirements while adhering to best coding practices. You will lead design sessions, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate release management and bug triaging. Your role will also involve direct interaction with HealthEdge customers to identify optimal solutions, as well as performing critical tasks such as bug fixing, configuration migration, and data loads for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness. You will be expected to support the resolution of customer issues in both production and non-production environments, contributing to the operational documentation necessary for the support team.
