CACI is seeking a senior level Java software developer who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be supporting and building new capabilities for the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), which encompasses various modules that span all aspects of Department of Defense (DoD) procurement, from Solicitation through Contract Closeout and related activities. Your work will involve analyzing and implementing solutions using exciting technology to solve complex problems related to government contract and procurement data. You will be responsible for creating and enhancing Java applications, building reports, optimizing user experience, and supporting efforts to enhance the PIEE. As part of a Scaled Agile (SAFe) team, you will be tasked with making adjustments or recommending enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness. Your role as a senior agile team member will also include coaching and reviewing the work of other teammates, ensuring that the team adheres to best practices and standards in software development. This position requires a strong understanding of Java development, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and solve problems creatively.
