About the position

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications.
• Work with AWS and implement cloud-based solutions.
• Utilize Spring Boot and Microservices architecture for application development.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in interconnected applications.
• Implement best practices for source control using SVN or Git.
• Connect applications to databases and manage SQL queries.
• Participate in building, testing, and deploying applications.

Requirements

• Classroom and in-field experience with Java 8 or greater.
• Good understanding of networks and their impact on applications.
• Experience with web applications and web services.
• Solid understanding of development workflows including building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Experience with source control systems such as SVN or Git.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Ability to troubleshoot multiple interconnected applications.
• Understanding of application scaling and performance impacts.
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Knowledge and experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Experience developing cloud applications/systems.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
