About the position

The Senior Java Developer role at Wipro involves designing, developing, and deploying complex projects with a focus on Java technologies. Responsibilities

• Design and develop critical and complex projects using Java technologies.
• Implement microservices-based solutions and ensure their successful deployment.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Develop SQL queries and understand data modeling for effective database interactions.
• Utilize Java 8 features, including Streams API and functional programming, in development tasks.
• Work with Spring-based technologies, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, to build robust applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for development and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development, particularly in Java.
• OCJP certification is mandatory.
• Strong skills in Java with experience in concurrent and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8 features such as Streams API and functional programming.
• Advanced knowledge of Spring technologies, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with caching frameworks like Redis.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and understanding data models.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Load Balancer, Security Group, Lambda, S3) is a plus.
• Experience in DevOps practices, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to AWS cloud services is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices is advantageous.
