About The Position
Our client, a global leader in contact center solutions, is currently seeking a dynamic individual with high energy and drive to join the Work Force Management (WFM) software development team as a Senior Software Engineer. This engineer will primarily focus on the development of server-side component design, development, testing, and implementation. Experience with client-side development is a plus. The engineer will work in an agile development environment and follow agile processes and practices. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing and developing quality, proficient, and well-documented technical solutions that satisfy business requirements and meet corporate architectural standards. This includes developing solid unit, integration, and automation tests according to organizational standards. The role also involves assisting in troubleshooting and maintenance of existing software applications, identifying and implementing additional improvements when warranted, and working with external stakeholders as needed. The engineer will develop technical models/design for assigned components and contribute to and drive technological and architectural decisions. Participation in reviewing design and code for other team members is expected, as well as getting the team to a high-performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques. The Senior Java Developer will work with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision-making and support organizational project or product teams. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
