About the position

The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for integrating The Infatuation website and apps, focusing on data processing. This role requires expertise in Java and related technologies, with an emphasis on working within Agile frameworks and leading teams in software development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Integrate The Infatuation website and apps with a focus on data processing.
• Utilize Java and Spring Boot for application development.
• Implement AWS services, preferably Elastic Search, for cloud solutions.
• Work with messaging systems, preferably Kafka, for data communication.
• Develop and manage SQL databases for data storage and retrieval.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS, particularly Elastic Search.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Strong SQL skills for database management.
• Expertise in Core Java and design techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Spring Batch and Spring Security.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
