About the position
At Hexaware Technologies, we are seeking a Senior Java Fullstack Developer with expertise in AWS to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a strong lead full stack engineer and an independent contributor, expected to hit the ground running with minimal to no support. You will need to possess excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly pick up new skills on your own. It is critical for you to have the expertise to navigate and understand complex existing code and batch processes to add new functionality and resolve issues effectively. You will be working on a high data volume transaction and batch process system, which requires significant experience in handling large complex systems with strict SLAs. The ideal candidate will have excellent database and SQL skills, along with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, Hibernate, Angular, and Autosys (or a similar scheduling tool), as well as experience in test automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues in existing code and batch processes.
- Implement new functionalities in high data volume transaction systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of database management and SQL.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based architectures.
- Familiarity with Spring Integration, Spring Batch, and Hibernate.
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as Angular.
- Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
