About the position

The Senior Java Fullstack Developer at Capgemini is responsible for developing and maintaining user interfaces and backend services using Java and various web technologies. This role requires a strong background in both frontend and backend development, with a focus on leveraging modern frameworks and practices to deliver high-quality software solutions. The position emphasizes collaboration within a diverse team and supports the company's mission to drive digital transformation for leading organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain user interfaces using JavaScript, CSS, and Angular.
  • Implement backend services using Java (Core Java, Java EE) and Spring Boot framework.
  • Utilize microservices architecture and ensure adherence to design standards.
  • Conduct test-driven development (TDD) and utilize automated testing tools such as JUnit and Cucumber.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver medium to complex systems.
  • Engage in DevOps practices to enhance deployment and integration processes.

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of experience in UI development with JavaScript, CSS, and Angular.
  • Solid background in Java (Core Java, Java EE, Multithreading/Concurrency, RESTful development).
  • Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring Integration, and persistence frameworks like JPA, Hibernate, or MyBatis.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Strong expertise in microservices architecture and automated testing tools.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Gradle, Maven, and Sonar.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of MDM tools.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
