About the position

The Senior Java Fullstack Developer position is a contract role with a duration of 12+ months, located in Mclean, VA, offering a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on hands-on development, mentoring, and driving technical vision within a collaborative team. The developer will work closely with the Product Owner to enhance product design and customer experience through innovative engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in modernized development teams
• Proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, Angular 15+, and cloud technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions (AWS)
• Good communication skills for interfacing with business lines and IT

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with modern tools such as Jenkins, Cucumber, and Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket)
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and OpenShift
