The Senior Java/JQuery Developer role is focused on developing web-based applications with a strong emphasis on Core Java and Core Spring technologies. The role also involves conducting live coding assessments during interviews and requires a deep understanding of various Java technologies and frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 9 years of overall experience
• 100% development experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience developing web-based applications
• Minimum 5 years' development experience in Java/J2EE technologies
• Experience with multi-threading libraries, particularly the Executor framework
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MyBatis
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Familiarity with JBoss, Apache, Tomcat
• Strong skills in Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, Angular, AJAX techniques
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries like jQuery
• Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON
• SQL database design and stored procedures
• Ability to develop cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
• Understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, maintainability, and security
• Knowledge of web application security considerations
• Prior experience developing property & casualty applications
