About the position

As a Senior Java Software Developer / Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the Application Development team, making key technical decisions and ensuring quality in projects. You will collaborate with other architects to define the technical strategy and work with development teams to enhance a Model-Driven Administration Platform focused on the pensions domain. Your responsibilities will include coaching team members and leveraging your extensive software engineering experience to deliver optimal solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Make key technical decisions and maintain project oversight.
• Collaborate with other architects to define the technical future strategy.
• Work with development teams to enhance the Model-Driven Administration Platform.
• Act as a point of contact for team members and provide coaching as necessary.
• Utilize knowledge to develop the best solutions for clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficient in Java Development and SQL Databases.
• Experience with Model-Driven Architecture & Development.
• Knowledge of software security and infrastructure automation (CI/CD).
• Experience in monitoring and management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the financial services sector.
• Knowledge of pensions is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
