About the position

The Senior Key Account Manager (KAM) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for selling diagnostic solutions and managing the entire portfolio within strategic customer accounts. This role focuses on retaining and growing relationships, penetrating existing accounts, and acquiring new customers to drive profitable revenue. The KAM collaborates with various internal teams to ensure growth at Key Accounts and must understand the business environment of their accounts, including goals, strategies, and competitive landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to drive year-over-year growth and influence decision-makers at both corporate and local levels.
  • Analyze key financial performance indicators for assigned accounts to understand the impact of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Health Systems Executive to align with the customer's operating model and growth strategy.
  • Guide the internal selling team to develop and execute a multi-year strategic account plan.
  • Collaborate with the service organization to ensure successful installation and maintenance of products.
  • Monitor account activities and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Utilize DBS tools to coordinate resources and execute the strategic account plan.
  • Maintain an accurate sales funnel and deliver regular business reviews to customer business leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience or master's degree with 3+ years' experience.
  • Five years of Diagnostics Sales Experience.
  • Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time.

  • Previous experience in leading account planning and engaging in the sales cycle.
  • Experience in delivering executive-level business reviews.
