About the position

The Senior Key Account Manager (KAM) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for selling diagnostic solutions and managing the entire portfolio within strategic customer accounts in Northern California. This role focuses on retaining and growing relationships, penetrating existing accounts, and acquiring new customers to drive profitable revenue and enhance customer outcomes. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and a deep understanding of the accounts' business environments, goals, and competitive landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to drive year-over-year growth and influence decision-makers at both corporate and local levels.
  • Analyze key financial performance indicators for assigned accounts and align Beckman Coulter solutions with their financial objectives.
  • Guide the internal selling team to develop and execute a multi-year strategic account plan.
  • Collaborate with the service organization to ensure successful installation and maintenance of products.
  • Utilize DBS tools to coordinate resources and execute the strategic account plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience or master's degree with 3+ years' experience
  • Five years of Diagnostics Sales Experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in understanding the business and financial goals of customers and developing strategic plans.
  • Collaboration with local sales teams to provide informal leadership and ensure alignment with account strategy.
  • Experience in leading account planning and engaging in the sales cycle.
