About the position

The position involves managing and growing accounts within the Food Service Category at Givaudan, focusing on product development and flavor profiles. The role requires strategic account planning, collaboration with internal teams, and business development to cultivate customer relationships and drive sales. This is a fully remote role, ideally suited for candidates located in the West Coast market, but other locations may be considered for the right experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence strategic account planning.
  • Develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts.
  • Analyze brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition data to understand customer potential.
  • Manage brief pipeline to achieve growth plans.
  • Collaborate with Flavor Creation and Application on large commercial projects.
  • Maintain appropriate call frequency with essential product demonstrations and technical interfaces.
  • Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements following company guidelines.
  • Grow business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines and generating new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships with important decision-makers to position Givaudan as a preferred supplier.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or Food Science.
  • 6+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer relationship roles in the food or related industry.
  • Experience in the flavor industry, including knowledge of consumer and industry trends.
  • Understanding of customer strategies, projects, commercial needs, and product launch processes.
