About the position

IT Concepts Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Senior Knowledge Manager with extensive knowledge and records management experience to support our Defense Intelligence client in Washington, D.C. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients' business objectives, challenges, and aspirations related to knowledge management are met effectively. The Senior Knowledge Manager will engage directly with clients to understand their needs and will be responsible for aligning processes and technology to facilitate information sharing throughout the organization. The successful candidate will initiate, draft, and review all formal knowledge management plans, processes, requirements, and other documentation necessary for the organization. This includes storing and organizing requirements in an approved centralized database/content management/records management system. The role also involves assisting the government in identifying solutions that address complex intelligence analysis problems through collaboration with stakeholders, customers, and innovation centers of excellence. Additionally, the Senior Knowledge Manager will maintain awareness of government, Intelligence Community (IC), and industry research and development to assist in identifying solutions that meet current and future intelligence collection requirements. Responsibilities also include collecting and managing knowledge management requirements across the organization, documenting knowledge management capabilities, requirements, and investments, and compiling reports on performance/usage metrics, estimates to complete, and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities. The candidate will also assist in developing knowledge management strategies, policy development, and continual improvement frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and aspirations related to knowledge management.

  • Compile reports on performance/usage metrics, estimates to complete, and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities.
  • Assist in developing knowledge management strategies, policy development, and continual improvement frameworks.

Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • 7 years of knowledge management experience
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Experience developing and maintaining knowledge management systems and repositories like SharePoint and Confluence
  • Experience eliciting, documenting, verifying, and managing knowledge management requirements
  • Experience developing communications plans and preparing and conducting knowledge management and knowledge asset training
  • Experience developing and implementing continuity plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills using the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience working in the Intelligence Community and/or DoD as a knowledge manager
  • Must have active TS/SCI clearance, and willing/able to get CI Polygraph
