About the position

Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, is seeking a Senior Land Acquisition Manager to join our team in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. This role is pivotal in identifying and assessing land purchase opportunities that align with our strategic goals. As a Senior Land Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for pursuing and coordinating all land acquisition opportunities as directed, ensuring that we secure the best locations for our luxury homes and communities. You will work independently to negotiate the acquisition of properties with landowners, attorneys, or brokers, and will be expected to perform thorough land use, financial, and project profitability analyses for management review. In this position, you will also be tasked with obtaining and examining public land records as part of your due diligence process. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with engineers and operations managers on concept land planning, environmental, and utility requirements. Additionally, you will liaise with legal teams on purchase agreements and play a crucial role in training and mentoring new Land Acquisition Managers. Responsibilities

  • Pursue and coordinate all land acquisition opportunities as directed
  • Identify, assess, and submit for approval new land opportunities
  • Negotiate the acquisition of properties with landowners, attorneys, or brokers
  • Perform land use, financial, and project profitability analysis for management review
  • Obtain and examine public land records as part of performing due diligence
  • Work with engineers and operations managers on concept land planning, environmental, and utility requirements
  • Collaborate with legal on purchase agreements
  • Train and mentor new Land Acquisition Managers
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in residential land acquisition
  • Solid background in land planning, zoning, law, and/or real estate
