About the position

The Senior Land Surveyor - Project Manager at Adobe Associates Inc. is responsible for overseeing land surveying projects, ensuring quality service delivery to clients, and managing multiple survey crews. This role requires extensive experience in land surveying, project management, and strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various surveying techniques and technologies, and will play a key role in preparing survey reports and proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing Records of Survey, LLA's, Certificates of Compliance, Subdivisions, and others.
  • Performing field work as needed - surveys, staking, site visits, and managing and overseeing surveys.
  • Prepare and submit survey reports.
  • Preparing proposals & Service Agreements for potential clients.
  • Work with clients to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest land surveying regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Other survey-related duties as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Licensed in the State of California as a Professional Land Surveyor (or currently seeking licensure).
  • 5+ years of management experience, especially with multiple crews.
  • Experience in fieldwork, field procedures, & current application of equipment used today.
  • Experience with Topographic Mapping, Records of Survey, ALTA's, Subdivision Maps and processes, Lot Line Adjustments, Construction Staking and Calculations, Legal Descriptions for LLA's, easements, PG&E, Leases, and more.
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD/Civil 3D, points, surfaces, and corridors.
  • Strong background in construction layout and the ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with working in Sonoma, Marin, and Napa County.
  • Enthusiastic with an upbeat attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for clients and projects.
